I am a community builder and student of life. My medium is experience and service design. I am keen on creating interactive spaces and experiences that enable people to live smarter, healthier lives and to experience more of the beauty and magic our world offers. People describe me as curious, creative, empathetic, generous, thoughtful, and dynamic.
I am currently a business and service designer at Designit (Stockholm) where I work with companies to create services at the intersection of people, business, technology, and design and ensure that they are financially and operationally viable. Previously, I have played strategic business roles at Chegg, an online student hub connecting students to learning opportunities, and at Project Breaker, a social entrepreneurship program. I have also been active as a community builder among entrepreneurs and social change-makers with Hus24, Thousand network, and Good.is in San Francisco, as well as a producer of the National Dance for Obama campaign and Learnapalooza, a learning festival in Chicago. I started my career as a business planner and strategist for Sears after I graduated with honors from Harvard University in Social Studies. I have also participated in the Interactive Art Director program at Hyper Island, a creative thinking and experience design school known for its emphasis on team development and collaboration. As a sensory and experience enthusiast, I love actively exploring new places, cultures, foods, activities, histories, mentalities, and value systems as ways of fully understanding what it means to be human and what life is all about. |
